Masaki Yume

My Hero Academia

Created during Season 5 of the show. Rewritten after Season 7.

Hero Name: Lonely Star. Masaki Yume is now a Pro, after studying at UA Highschool. Masaki believes deeply in equality and justice, before graduating and starting work as a Pro, she would campaign for the betterment of all wrongs she found. Age: 21

"Miss Lonely Star!! How did you manage it? Your body- broken and bruised? What could make you so strong to be able to handle it all?"
- Interviewer

"The answer is simple. I had to. People needed to be saved, to be protected. Till my blood runs dry, I will use all the power I can to fight for everyone."
*Pointing towards the camera*
"To any villains, out there. Know this. You're going to have to try harder than that."
- Masaki Yume

Quirk - Retribution

This quirk allows the user to wield the strength of Justice, gaining power from their enemies desire to do wrong, the user is able to produce constructs, depending on how much power they are able to exert, they can create weaponry, protection in the form of armor, and more.

"When she was preparing for UA's entry exam, Saki discovered she could use her quirk to levitate, but she would risk hurting herself when she fell. So, learning her limits, she decided to practice over a large pool of water. But, even- Even over the water... She fell from a height that broke her hip. Saki was so determined to succeed, though, that she kept pushing on! She had managed to gain enough control over her levitation that she could move without putting pressure on her hip! She's so cool..."
- Masaki's Sister

"If I concentrate I can make stuff with my quirk, take a look at this. Pretty cool, huh? Now, this spear is kind of different to how most creation quirks work, as far as I understand it, this is more like my energy in the shape of a spear, and I have to force it to stay in its form, otherwise... Yeah. It dissipates. The way that I can move my body with my quirk is by placing a force onto my body using the energy, like this. So when I get injured, I know I can rely on my understanding of my quirk to keep my body moving- And that's an important skill- To know what makes your quirk, um, truly yours.."

Special Move - Shining Armor

As the level of her quirk's energy output increases, Masaki is able to manifest it into an armor that protects her body from harm.

"Y-yeah, I might be a little bit excessive- Ahahah... I think it looks cool... The funny thing is though, I never really came up with the idea of forming armor around myself... What actually what happened was... Well... When I was on the brink of death, I instinctively formed the energy around myself, into this armor... I can't really say why it looks like it does, but it's useful in combat! This armour is entirely flexible, being made out of energy that I can manipulate, I'm not restricted for movement while I'm fighting!"

Special Move - Solar Spear & Solar Shield

Hero, Lonely Star, real name Masaki Yume's prefered combat stance is that of a spear and a shield, through her quirk she is able to manifest these into her very hands.

"With my quirk I'm able to manifest ranged attacks, but it can be pretty useful for controlling a battlefield's environment too! For example, if I manifest my energy into a pillar, I can prevent a building from falling down. It's not easy, though."
- Masaki Yume on 'How To Be A Hero'

Special Move - Solar Eclipse

Falling down to the Earth with a punch, Masaki withdraws all her power to use to thrust down with a devastating punch.

"Huh? Who's that girl? DAMN, what a flashy attack! Hmh. Maybe I need some glowsticks..."
- Mirko.

Special Move - Arena

Encasing an area with her energy, Masaki is able to brawl with her enemies without risking harm to people and things outside the arena.

"Dealing with certain foes, it can be extremely useful to keep an enemy from touching the earth. I manifest a cage for me and my foe. Sometimes, this is good enough to snare the enemy and incapacitate them... But my energy can still be fragile, and not every enemy will be unable to move either! One time, I caged a villain who had the ability to manipulate gravity, of course... He just moved the cage around with himself still in it- But that was his mistake! He ended up knocking himself out, hahaha! That's why it's important for me to hold up the offense!"
